研究室簡介

由陳宜民老師主持的「重要傳染病及癌症實驗室」位於本校國璽樓醫學院6樓，實驗室配備有即時聚合酶連鎖反應(Real-time PCR)、基因多型性基因型分型平台(SNP Genotyping)、及冷光讀盤機等設備。此外，本實驗室建置有醫學院唯一合格之BSL-2二級生物安全實驗室，可協助全院及校內團隊合作進行涉及第二級危險群(RG2)感染性生物材料之相關研究。

本實驗室之研究主軸涵蓋基礎醫學、與轉譯醫學，核心研究方向主要包含探討 GNMT(Glycine N-methyltransferase)基因於肝癌與肝臟代謝疾病之機轉，並開發以GNMT做為治療標的之抗肝癌及抗胰臟癌小分子新藥，目前正在執行國科會的國家型代謝體基因醫學四年期計劃(2026-2030)。此外，我們亦同步開發以中草藥萃取物組合為基礎的GNMT活化劑，並探討其於抗老化及運動促進方面之功效。本研究團隊亦致力於利用台灣人體生物資料庫(Taiwan Biobank)及健保資料庫之數據進行資料串連與危險因子分析，探討GNMT基因及其他單碳代謝循環路徑相關基因在代謝失能性脂肪肝疾病患者族群與職業環境中多環芳香烴之暴露族群間的病程關聯性。
